Article 5 Overnighted to Beijing

Finally, the end of the road is near. This has been a whole different experience than when we adopted Julia. Not sure I'm digging the I-800 adoption path. As detailed out as the steps to a China adoption are, you would think the timeframe from one adoption to the other would be a little bit more clearer than MUD. Things can change at the drop of a hat and alter your plans in a millisecond. This results in lives being put on hold until you are given a Consulant Appointment. Then, and only then, can you make your arrangements to travel.

This is the part of the adoption where I need prayers. Weeks of waiting for approval can begin to feel like years. Please pray for us and for others who are patiently awaiting to be united with their sons and daughters. Hope to be posting our TA News in lightening speed!!!

New Pictures of Chaning

  This is what I looked like after receiving updated pictures of Chaning last night.  I am ready to get my hands on her.  Our Article 5 should be picked up on Monday and overnighted to the CCAA.  We will then wait for our last leg and that is Travel Approval.  It could come in 2 weeks or 6 weeks.  We are praying hard for the 2 weeks.

Little Dimple & Sista-Talk-A-Lot

Look who has a little dimple. Oh my, I cannot wait to get my hands on this precious angel. She is always smiling and looks so happy. Our petition has been sent to Guanghzou and we should have our Article 5 picked up and sent to the CCAA in Bejing on 6/7. Then, we will begin the final countdown to travel. I would love to still travel in June but will be happy with the first of July. We found out why the airline tickets have doubled... EXPO in Shanghai. This is equivalent to our World's Fair and it started in May and will end in October.

For those of you who never get to hear Julia talk.... I pulled a good one on her and video taped her and Carson when they relinquished their floaties last week. Video is not that great but her voice is priceless.
