3 more days on US soil and then 19 in China!

We have received our itenarary for our trip to Chaning:

 

July 13th - Leave MGM Airport heading to ATL; ATL to Japan; Japan to Shanghai

July 14th - 9:05 p.m. Arrive in Shanghai (this will be 8:05 a.m. AL time)

July 15th - July 17th - Visit/Tour Shanghai

July 17th - Fly to Guangzhou

July 19th - Gotcha Day !!!!!

July 24th - Medical Clinic

July 27th - Consulate Appt

July 30th - Leave for home

July 31st - Arrive back to the MGM Airport at 7:05 p.m. (Tim and the kids get to meet Chaning)

August 1st - Consume as much Diet Caffiene Free Coke and Buffalo chicken salad/wings as humanly possible!!

 

 

We are almost completely packed and ready.  It's exciting to know we are so close to picking up our daughter but becoming harder to imagine being away from most of the family for so long. Gotta love some Skype!  I will be updating our website daily or as much as the internet service in the hotels allow.

July 4th

What to do when you have a total of 14 kids??  Well, it can make two days feel like seven.  We had a blast with friends and the kids enjoyed it even more. We are now focusing on getting ready to travel in one week.  The butterflies are starting to set in and the nerves are taking over.  I will miss my babies at home ALOT but know they will be taken care of.  I am so anxious to meet Chaning. Luggage has been packed and repacked and I'm sure will be repacked again.  I am just going down my list of to do's and hope they all get done in time.   I will be posting our itenarary as soon as I receive confirmation of it this week.  I cannot wait for Chase to experience this.  We will be visiting Chaning's orphanage and finding place.  Stay tuned for all the trip details....

Carson's Birthday

We celebrated Carson's 5th birthday with friends and family.  The older kids celebrated by partaking in a mud fight.  This year we have moved up from mud riding to just a plain out mud slinging.
