What to do while WAITING???

Well, it's nice to have good friends and family that know you need to be kept busy.  I didn't enjoy the TA wait when we adopted Julia.  It was so nerve racking.  I am trying to really not stress over the wait for Chaning and be a little productive.  For most of you out there that have already adopted, you know it is not uncommon for the night time hours to be the hardest on our babies.  Julia has never had night tremors or terrors but has always woken herself up at the same time every night and found her way to our room.  She has always had a fear of sleeping by herself.  She slept with us for the first year home, Chase for another year and Matthew the remaining years.  We tried several things to get her in her room but they were very short-lived and consisted of me ending up sleeping with her.

I am here to announce that Sunday night, Julia Suling slept in her own room.  After being encouraged by a friend , we both got in the girl's room and rearranged it and girlified it up.  By Sunday night her bedspread was folded down.. a pillow for her and a pillow for Buster.. and she hopped on into that sucker and slept - ALL NIGHT!  This same exact miracle occured last night.  I have traded a little girl coming into our bed in the middle of the night for taking a shower with a puppy so he can guard my baby while she sleeps at night.  I don't do fleas!

We have now waited one week for our TA.  We are hoping to hear something next week but wouldn't be surprised if it is the week after.  Although some TA's are arriving in 4 to 5 days after Article 5, I am not getting my hopes up.  Instead, we will be moving on to Chase's and Carson's room to reorganize.
