WE MADE IT!
We have made it to Shanghai. We have traveled for 24 hours straight. I did, however, get to hear a voice on the phone once we arrived in Shanghai that said, "Hi, Mum". That brought tears to my eyes. Chaning is ready to meet us in the morning. We will spend the next two days visiting with her & her foster family. ...We have been told they are taking us to the World Expo tomorrow.
Let the horns begin to beep on the streets. Wow, I forgot how busy China can be with all the people. Slept very little last night but feel great. We will leave the hotel around 9:30 to go meet Chaning and her foster family for the first time. Few butterflies in the abdominal area.
