Day ZERO!

Tim brought his sweetie some balloons when she woke up from surgery.
She loves her cards and her one-a-day gifts. She opened her princess slippers tonight and can only wear one due to the monitor on the other foot but she is wearing it like Cinderella's glass slipper.

Not sure which one was receiving the morphine drip.

This is my little princess after about four hours of sleep and preparing to be taken off to surgery. Still smiling.

Everything is good so far. We were told from medical history that this was probably Chaning's sixth medical procedure in her four years, first in the USA. We were also told that she should be DONE with surgeries and can now start the rest of her life without hospitals, doctors and daily rituals that are not the norm for a child her age. I cannot say enough good about Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We have not met one person that has not shown compassion and love for the kids that come through and for what the contribute. Top Notch Facility!! Now, ask me how I feel about these four walls that we are sitting in come a week or so from now and I'm sure I might be a tad bit fussy. We are going to get such much needed sleep tonight, we hope.

So glad the surgery was a success!
We will continue to pray for healing.
